Underworld Reckoning & New World Remaking
Hello dear beings.
What a wild time. 😵💫
Tentacles of our nation's destructive shadows tearing through the streets in real time and in high definition.
An unchecked appetite for cynical destruction and disinformation rules the day.
A fascist regime recruits the worst of us and unreasonably empowers them. So desperate it is to cling to authoritarian power by causing fear and chaos.
I recently underwent a psychedelic ceremony. And what came—unexpected to both me and the facilitator—was a great and insistent darkness.
The darkness wanted to be communed with. Gone into. Facing our void. Facing our shadows. Taking ownership of the shit, the compost, the atrocities, the utter suffering—roiling the Earth under our very feet.
Luckily, as a womb-having woman, and a mystic, I have some experience communing with the Void. So I guided our ceremony towards it—and it transformed everything.
By working collective healing within the ceremony, sending my consciousness through the mycelial web of the soil/the Earth and into the intense suffering afflicting the people across the continent and the world... I felt myself merging with their unprocessed mind—those psychic impulses that surge and churn within us, simulatenously that night:
- when our hearts break
- when we can't find it in us to get out of bed or even move
- when we want to LEAP out of bed and take radical, impulsive action
- when we KNOW something is wrong but don't know what to do about it
- when we just want to scream and collapse in the streets in despair
- when we wallow in isolation, in part caused by lost relationships from people's growing adherence to their pet disinformation bubbles
- when we are consumed with merely managing our terror and numbing our empathy
- when we call a loved one to check in on them, or bake muffins for a food distro, or call our representatives, knowing at least something can be done...
...All of that is the force of Life animating through us, and it is what tethers and ties us together even in the face of empowered, demonic forces.
It is upon us, and the Life moving through us, to confront the darkness NOW.
And in this unity, there is great hope for the mutual recognition to dawn: hey... wait a minute... we're in this together, aren't we? 💡
Because honestly: What ARE we doing here if not Reunification?
There is no liberation except in coming back to Life, to nature, to reality, to each other—and to our duties and purposes incumbent upon our interconnection.
I stand for no other liberation than this.
Adrienne maree brown spoke it so well in her latest newsletter: This nation has its roots and identity founded in hate, ignorance, and exploitation. The problem is: we've never had a reckoning. We've never actually looked at and claimed those parts of ourselves.
And, as a result, the beast rears its head in new and hideous ways. Against the headline-grabbing murders of law-abiding, white citizens, you have the ongoing backdrop of relentless harassment, racial profiling, and abduction of people of color, and the mistreatmeant and deaths of immigrant detainees in concentration camps.
Human rights (and Constitutional rights too) are being violated openly, indiscriminately, and in a frenzied, frantic manner.
A decidedly dark, demonic future threatens to seize more territory—driven by the unceasing greed of the billionaires and the ignorant depravity of the fascist right wing.
So we must do something and everything, anything meaningful, anyway. To seize back the future.
To declare. To show. To claim our truths. To stand in those truths. To show the way of peace, solidarity, mutual care, and dialogue, to those too degraded to even recognize it.
The people contain an immense amount of embodied wisdom, ingenuity, and intuition. Life is animating that, through us.
The people will lead the way toward a pluralistic, prosocial, collaborative society, centered on our interconnection... centered on reality.
Which is why the actively decayed, degraded state apparatus is so desperate to suppress the people by any means necessary. Because if only enough people wake up out of the haze of disinformation and choose a different myth: the whole system crumbles.
Awaken to your power, your wisdom, your aliveness. Let it guide you.
And things will be more well than before.
There is only way, and infinite expressions of it.
Stand for, and from, Life. 🌀🌲🍄🧑🤝🧑
Become people capable of reckonings, and of total re-organizations.
This death portal is an aperture opening for the benefit of our awareness. ⚫
Navigate it. Enter it and see, really SEE, what's there. 👀
But don't become it. Don't indulge fear.
You are at choice, wild, living being.
Choose who you become next.
