Freedom-Crafting, Self-Making Ways

This talk builds the bridge between the first two disciplines of Fractal Praxis—Meaning to Agency.

Agency is cultivated by differentiating from one's environment, discerning patterns, and achieving independence through conscious effort.

Most of us start out our lives pretty enmeshed with others. Unable to process things for ourself. Yet this hinders our developmental potential.

How do you gain a sense of Who and What You Are... and what's the meaning of YOUR unique life?

This labor cannot be skipped. It is the way to arrive at a peak of Agency. Ironically, this means transcending total self-enactment and accessing an experience of doing the Self's will (as differentiated by capital letter)... embodying a meta-Self, effortlessly effective, awake to interbeing and in an ecstatic flow-state reunion... fulfilling one's sacred call as an agent of Life in the universe.

I took care to write some intentional teachings for this, and it ended up being 2x the length when recorded. As I've mentioned, I'm working towards producing an introductory course for Fractal Praxis, so you can consider this all "prototype" content. 🤓

The ultimate freedom, after all, is to be wild: following our OWN synthesis for what things mean and what to act upon, moment to moment. This sounds deceptively simple but is NOT easy to attain. To actually reclaim our wild selves means taking far more risks in pursuing meaning and power. It means growing through and out of all illusory selves—which is often arduous, excruciating work.

The third discipline of Fractal Praxis, Synch (short for "synchronization") discusses how we can functionally merge with collective consciousness for even greater wisdom and Life-loving enactment. That talk comes up next, on June 25th.

Sovereignty comes at a cost. Making meaning with our lives comes at a cost. A cost worth paying, per my friend and mentor Deacon Rodda (SQGLZ). (More on that in the video. ☝️)

I offer this invocation, originally composed for the Sovereignty Summit held by Yellow Barn Farm in September 2024. Echoing and hopefully enhancing the magic moving through you as a result of this week's theme/video. Please enjoy.

Who I am is not a problem.
Who I’ve become, you must become.
May we all root down together in time.
May we speak with earthen tongue.

Dreams can give as yet more guidance
Invisible structures, steps underfoot
A path emerges, gently buttressed
by right ways and knowing, understood.

[Hanged man card – under-standing, to under-stand. is to have your perspective reversed in a moment, and yet to have everything make more sense than it ever did before. This card holds great alchemy for how one can relax into the process of a new self or consciousness being born through you.]

Re-covering. 
Ground down.
The insanity to build structures upon
what is continuously growing,
and knows how.

And not to be like long hair flowing,
brushed and swept by kissing streams of breeze
Nothing doing and nothing knowing.
Just like self. Beyond relief.

And so I sculpt what you receive.
And you thus shape me. Weave and weave.
Pieces of us shall fray,
shall arise and pass away
The soul path, though… cannot betray.
Transit it with me, to our graves.
We shall grow free. We shall be remade.
